Tolkien's children were John, Michael, Christopher, and Priscilla. Michael died in 1984 and obviously never saw them. John died in 2003. I believe I recall that he didn't mind them, and disagreed with his brother Christopher's assessment.

When I read The Children of Húrin I found it really dark and full of what seemed to me really wise ideas and expressions. I know Tolkien was a hu Pictures by J.R.R.
